Tropical Health is looking to recruit a Research Manager to lead the coordination of the implementation of projects within our research portfolio; provide technical consultancy services; lead the development of technical proposals; and to play an active role in our knowledge management.

The role is home-based with international travel (provisional to when the global pandemic subsides).

Salary and package will be commensurate to experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate will hold a Masters in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research or Social Sciences.  They will have at least five years international experience in the design and management and application of research methods, monitoring and evaluation, including population based surveys, participatory data collection and data quality verification in large health development projects.  The candidate will have managed research project staff and operations and will also have experience delivering consultancy to funders and clients.  The role will primarily be in English but a working knowledge of a 2^nd language is preferred.
