    The Vacancy

    Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Research Uptake Manager to join our team in London, UK.

    The Research Uptake Manager is an important, high level role that will maximise the impact of the research generated by the Research Programme; to develop policy-influencing strategies linked to evidence and learning from research conducted through the RPC.

    The successful candidate will have:

    • MSc in Entomology, Public Health, Global Health, Epidemiology or a related research discipline with a substantial research component
    • Knowledge of the policy and practice environment in vector control and current debates within the research discipline
    • Strong skills in communicating scientific / development research to non-research audiences
    • Demonstrable understanding of the broader RU theory of change i.e. the barriers to uptake experienced by decision-makers as well as the challenges of communicating research
    • Skills in developing a range of outputs for communicating research – in print, electronic and face-to-face formats.
    • Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering research uptake strategies

    This is a fixed term contract for the period of four years.
