    Aedes: Integrated Vector Management

Implementation of appropriate vector control interventions is crucial to prevent the transmission of vector-borne disease. Insecticide Treated Nets (ITNs), Long Lasting Insecticide Treated Nets (LLINs), and Indoor Residual Spraying (IRS) remain the core interventions recommended by WHO, as well as the integration of supplementary interventions, such as larval source management, as and where appropriate. Efficient planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities are central to ensuring that these interventions remain as effective as possible in areas where they are distributed.

This section provides guidance and toolkits for planning, mentoring and evaluation, and quality assurance for conducting and maintaining efficient vector control operations across all Aedes endemic settings.
