Corine Ngufor is elected as the new RBM VCWG Co-Chair with 60% of the votes. She is currently an Assistant Professor of medical entomology at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, UK, and has been in Benin since 10 years ago, working on the evaluation of novel vector control products at the Centre de Recherche Entomologique de Cotonou in the Benin Ministry of Health. Corine has extensive experience in vector control research in some African countries and contributed to the development of the new generation of ITN and IRS products for malaria vectors.

She will co-chair the VCWG together with Justin McBeath and the Work Stream co-leads, Mary Kante & Allan Were (WS1), Sheila Barasa & Allison Tatarsky (WS2), Chadwick Sikaala & Mark Hoppé (WS3) with immediate effect.
